Today we did an experiment with skittles! We have been learning about scientists and science tools. For this experiment the children had to hypothesize what they thought would happen and discuss the tools that they thought would be helpful. The children were put into groups of 2 or 3. Each had a job. The photographer took photos on the iPad during the experiment. The observer watched to see what happened, using the magnifying glass when needed. One student from each group slowly poured the water. They worked together to line
the plate with skittles. They were SO excited when the skittles started to make beautiful rainbows in the water!
