Subtraction unit is underway and today we practiced using the chant "Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar". We read the book first to learn how to play. I created this smart board activity to practice "stealing" AKA subtracting cookies from the jar. Then we made a class book where each child illustrated a subtraction problem about the number of cookies they stole from the jar!
