Our author study for this month is Judy Schachner! Our country study is Mexico so SkippyJon Jones is the perfect tie in! The kids LOVE these books! We are also studying setting and characters. We created our own SkippyJon stories by changing the setting and they became the characters! Some of my favorite new title was "SkippyJon Jones in Octopus Trouble". They were very creative and some of them even wrote the rest of their story after!
